Overview

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you find the answers to your questions here.  If you cannot find what you are looking for, please feel free to call us at 631-656-2126. The Office of Student Activities strives to create an atmosphere that complements the academic experience. Our staff encourages the practice of respect, understanding, and responsibility. Our residents come from a diversity of ethnic and social backgrounds and we aim to provide a college experience that will make our students proud and satisfied with their overall experience at Five Towns College.

The Student Activities Office at Five Towns College provides an environment for our students not only to enjoy planned activities and events, but also to express their individual interests and talents. In the Student Center (located in the lower level of Symphony Hall), we offer a setting where our students can relax, read a book, enjoy a game of pool, have tournaments on our Play Station 2 system or watch a DVD on our big screen television. The Downbeat Café, located in the Student Center, offers students sandwiches, beverages, light fare, snacks, and other items at times when the Upbeat Café is closed.

Mission Statement

The Student Activities Office strives to create a campus community in which students become socially responsible citizens while achieving academic and personal success. It provides a range of services and programs to assist individual students as well as student organizations that support individual growth, social cohesion, and cultural diversity.
